Introduction of The Korean Society of Design Culture

April 15, 2015

THE KOREAN SOCIETY OF DESIGN CULTURE was established in March 1997, in Korea, as a nonprofit academic organization related to all design areas.

THE KOREAN SOCIETY OF DESIGN CULTURE is an association for designers which does research and conducts cooperative works in the areas of craft, visual, industrial, media, and environmental design. It holds annual domestic and international exhibitions and conferences to cultivate the practical, functional, and experimental designs and popularize them in both Korea and the world.

THE KOREAN SOCIETY OF DESIGN CULTURE has more than 1,800 members with talents in all areas related to design and has 5 branch organizations in Youngnam, Honam, Chungchung, Gangwon, and Jeju provinces in Korea.

I sincerely hope that this exhibition will give great all attendees the opportunity to discuss new developments in theory, applications and education issues which pertain to design environments in different parts of the world.

Thank you very much.
